Our Activities

Our Programs with Children as Researchers

At The Enableum, we believe that everyone is a researcher. We encourage all participants to embrace the role of discovering and learning through both introspection and extrospection. Together with children aged 3 to 7, we guide, learn, and research, fostering a global, indigenous, inclusive, and diverse perspective on the world around them. Our program immerses children in play, place-based learning, and community engagement, addressing current issues and local and global news. Most importantly, we are a competency-based learning program that helps children discover their strengths and areas for growth.

Summer STEAMing Camp

At The Enableum, our camps transcend the traditional classroom setting, venturing into the splendour of nature. Each week introduces children to a new chapter of exploration at diverse outdoor locales, crafting unforgettable memories and experiences. We hope to see everyone in next summer!

Enableum Weekend Session

We offer enriching 4-hour sessions every Saturday and Sunday, focusing on introspection and extrospection. Our program integrates the latest brain research on Social Emotional Learning, drawing from the CASEL and SEE learning frameworks. This approach supports the growth and development of social and emotional skills for everyone involved in our program. While our weekend sessions share a common structure, the topics of inquiry evolve weekly based on our emergent curriculum approach. This dynamic method aligns with our belief in viewing children as capable and curious learners.

Richmond City Walk

join us for Richmond City Walks every Tuesday and Thursday from 3:30 PM to 6:30 PM. These walks are designed to engage children in a unique, immersive experience that responsibly and adequately stimulates their senses and enhances their sensory awareness. Furthermore, participation in our walks can provide opportunities for children and grown ups to foster stronger relationships while they experience and learn together.
